The Residents Council at the Community of Lookout Ridge have invited the three Regional Councillor candidates to join them on Oct. 17.
Anthony Annunziata, Brian Baty, and Jim Inman will be having a meet and greet with residents and also participating in a political debate, discussing some issues of concern to residents.
They will tackle questions regarding the Niagara Region and also how Pelham fits into the municipality. That includes potentially bringing in Regional Transit to connect the town with the rest of Niagara.
Other topics will include taxpayer dollars, construction throughout Pelham and surround areas, and what many are calling the lack of accountability and connection between those on council.
The debate will play out much like the mayoral debate, where the three candidates will make it known why Pelham should vote for them on Oct. 27.
The event begins at 4 p.m. and will run to approximately 5:15 at Lookout Ridge Retirement Home in Fonthill.
