Pelham town council asks residents to submit their ideas for the 2015 budget at an open house in the town council chambers at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, Dec.8.
For the past few years, council has begun its budget preparation with the public meeting to draw ideas.
While at times sparsely attended, suggestions from it have led to projects such as sidewalk construction and road improvements.
Council, sitting as a committee of the whole, will receive suggestions for both its capital (buildings, roads, equipment) budget and operating (staff, salaries, office hours) budget.
Presentations at the meeting will be limited to 10 minutes. To assist in record keeping, the town clerk asks for copies of presentations before or at the meeting.
For those with suggestions but cannot attend the open house, they can send them by email to [email protected].
Written comments can be sent to Nancy J. Bozzato, Town Clerk, Town of Pelham, 20 Pelham Town Square, P.O.Box 400.
