Christmas trees will be heading to the curb on Jan. 10.

The Niagara Region reminds residents to have the tree out before 7 a.m. and have all decorations removed. They would also like to remind you to not place on a snow bank or to place it inside a bag, as this causes problems when disposing of the tree.

Weather conditions may delay collection. Leave your Christmas tree at the end of the driveway and it will be collected.

Residents can also take Christmas trees to a drop-off depot or landfill sites. Trees dropped off at any landfill site free of charge.
