LETTER: Eclipse was still exciting, despite the clouds

'It was still exciting to experience the quick temperature drop, misty air and darkness"

PelhamToday received the following letter to the editor from reader Brenda Close in response to the column THE HOT TAKE | Niagara eclipse: State of Faux-mergency.

James Culic's article isn’t worth the read!

Most people who would have attended the April 8 eclipse [would have said] “Nowadays we can look at future weather forecasts," therefore cancel accommodations, etc!

Maybe James should find out just how many cancelled their plans due to future weather conditions April 8! My son and his friend being one of them.

Albeit, even though we didn’t get the full effect of a total eclipse it was still exciting to experience the quick temperature drop, misty air and darkness. And we were lucky to have had a break in the clouds to see ”totality”!
